SAP® R/3 ERP MM (Materials Management)
The MM module is a fundamental component of SAP® ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and supports the areas of procurement and inventory management. Together with SAP® SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) it can be used in the classic or extended scenario to comprehensively map procurement processes (e.g. approval workflows). But it also has a good performance range on its own (e.g. reporting - purchasing information system) and can now also be used mobile and intuitively with the new SAP® Fiori technology.The MM module is a product for the operative procurer in a central purchasing department. It is not suitable for decentralized procurement.
The user of MM works with the SAP GUI.
